Brannavy Jeyasundaram, Sujit Vaidya, and Ahalya Satkunaratnam.

Moderated by Bageshree Vaze. 

Cultivating and Educating Audiences in Diverse Dance Aesthetics

Presented by Pratibha Arts and The CanDance Network with support from Canada Council for the Arts, the session detailed how the Aga Khan Museum has cultivated diverse audiences since 2014. Amirali Alibhai discussed its highly successful annual Flamenco festival, and Carmen Romero offered insights and a demonstration of the history of Flamenco in Canada and abroad.

Dancing Our Truth

Presented by Pratibha Arts and The CanDance Network with support from Canada Council for the Arts, this was a session about De-Colonizing Dance and developing audiences in a post-pandemic reality - bringing otherwise hidden dances to the MAIN stages! Moderated by Bageshree Vaze, featuring Christine Friday of Friday Creeations.
